I love this funky little dude. Like??? Tarot card monsters??? Absolutely cool. I think they did his design really well, even though he kind of looks like a fusion between a jester and some sort of warrior, but hey, he isn’t even actually a spellcaster. So really, you can’t blame him for not looking like one despite his name. You all already know I’m a sucker for black and red color schemes, but I wish they didn’t always try to accent them with blue. I mean it works sometimes (like with this card, but probably only because of the large amount of white in his design), but other times it throws off the look of a card.
My absolute favorite part of this card is his differently colored mirrors in the background. Sure he may be edgy magician first, but he can also be: funky cyan magician, nightshade magician, banana berry magician, and magenta (magenta) magician.
Rating: 8/10, keep on going funky little dude
